Hi!! I am Ellie, a second year student at uni studying fashion. I have been wanting to start a blog for months now but seeing this competition on Natasha's blog Girl in the Lens has finally pushed me to do it! I could not resist the chance to win a £1000 shopping spree. You have to create 3 outfits each for under £200 for the ultimate summer wardrobe.

I love pink and black together, it is so girly and fun. I chose this New Look drop waist skirt as the sixties are in and it has a sporty feel with the crop top. These elegant court heels from River Island add a more sophisticated look. Neon and pastels look really great together, so I used that with the different tones of pink and the white heels. Oversized bows are in this season too so the Ted Baker bag is perfect. A statement necklace finishes the look for the evening.

I like simple black bikinis as they are slimming and suit everyone. I added lighter accessories for colour in on-trend white and pink. Fun round sunglasses are in this summer and pastels again are also on trend so these Dune sandals and Monki sunglasses are perfect. I spent more on the sandals than anything else as you need them to be comfortable to walk in all day and it is worth it for leather. I love mixed prints so added a light blouse and cute floral shorts to cover up with off the beach. Blue is big this season too.

I also went for the pastel trend for this look with the light pink jeans and pale accessories. The bag from H&M is real suede so worth the money and it can go with lots of different outfits. I love a floppy hat to add some chicness to any look and the lace detail on this one is perfect for summer. The Topshop sandals have a flower design which is really trendy this season. I added the spotty top with the peplum for the sixties trend and it works for monochrome too. All in all a fun and flirty look.
Hope you enjoy my blog and please stay with me for lots more posts. x x x x x
